Kurt Geiger are really mixing things up with their S/S12 collection by putting a twist on modern femininity. Anja Rubik returns as the face of the California Dream campaign and shows off a kaleidoscope of fabulous footwear.

There is a great selection of colour used in the collection and it incorporates a lot of neutral tones splashed with bursts of neon. Even the classic loather, Moon, has been given a neon twist along with the Greek platform and the Gel high heeled sandal. Pretty pastels also make a regular appearance with heels such as Class managing to look sexy but sweet as candy at the same time.

Kurt Geiger can always be counted on for its infamous heels but for those who are afraid of heights, there are lots of fantastic flats to choose from. The Lady Bell shoe lives up to its name as it screams out retro chic as does the Lancelot mary jane. If you can just about manage a mid heel the Dree sling back has been toughened up with studs, as has the Eurpoean court.

With the long summer days heading our way the collection has a range of beautiful sandals for the girl about town to invest in. The Kelis sandal with its intricately cut out leather design, is a fine example, and is available in an array of pastels or classic black. Khloe is a more simple yet equally elegant design and will finish off just about any summer outfit.

Accessories are a relatively new direction for Kurt Geiger but they are so far doing it well. The sunglasses in particular stand out and Rubik looks effortlessly cool wearing hers in the campaign. The yellow Humbug clutch that she is posing with has a real wow factor but if its a bit too bright for you it comes in more subtle patterns and shades.

There are many bold designs in the collection but as long as you are not afraid to stand out from the crowd (for all the right reasons of course,) they are all totally wearable.
